Tomorrow is the last day to buy your Pickle Barrel season pass before the price increases from $100 ($107 with tax) to $125. Plus, if you buy by tomorrow, you get a free ticket to the mini-skirt party in the spring.

Season passes for The Pickle Barrel nightclub at Killington are now on sale for $100 plus tax before October 31, 2009. After that date, the price rises to $125 plus tax.  As an extra incentive, when you buy your pass in October, you also get a free ticket to the 2010 Mini Skirt party which is typically not included.

We mentioned all the benefits of the pass in our post from last week, but let us recap them again:

• Free admission every night they are open (cover can be $18+ on peak weekends)
• Bring a guest for free from Sunday – Thursday during non-holiday periods
• Exclusive pass holder entrance, so no waiting in line
• Free ticket to the 2010 Mini Skirt party if bought before 10/31/09
• The pass is not valid for ticketed events or New Year’s Eve

Call the Pickle Barrel at 802-422-3035 to charge by phone and then pick up your pass on when you go for the first time. It’s easy and will save you a lot of time and cash if you’re up at Killington this season.

In what is a sure sign of the coming ski season, season passes for the Pickle Barrel nightclub go on sale next week, according to an email sent to their mailing list. More details will be announced next week.

If you’re not familiar with the “Pickle Pass,” let us tell you that it is a great deal for any frequent visitors to Killington.  For around $120 (they offered a special sale for $80 that ended on May 2), the pass allows you free admission and a special VIP entrance into the Pickle Barrel for all but special events throughout the season. Plus, you can bring a friend in for free with you on any night but Saturday.  You also get free admission to JAX Food & Games bar next door. With cover charges of $18+ on peak weekends and lines of over an hour in the cold, it pays for itself in no time.

The Pickle Barrel also opens for Brew Fest this weekend for the first time since last season.  This Saturday, October 3, they are featuring Kick which they bill as the “ultimate rock show.”  Saturday, October 10, they have The Degenerates and Saturday, October 17, they have Pepper.  You can find out more details on their web site.
