On Sunday, the Rutland Herald reported that the free Killington Road Night Shuttle was $20,000 short on donations needed to operate this season after Killington Resort was unable to donate $50,000 of its funds due to the economic conditions.
However, in today’s paper, they note that Killington Resort has agreed to add funds to the cause but opted out of contributing $50,000 after noticing that donations from other area businesses were down.
The night shuttle transports workers and visitors along the Killington access road and runs from 5pm – 1am on weekdays and until 2am on weekends.
